The Leavenworth Swim Team a competitive summer swim team and part of the Wenatchee Valley Summer Swim League.
We welcome kids of all abilities, aged 6-18, that wish to experience the competitive yet recreational summer swim experience. Registration will open May 1st, 2023. A full registration consists of a completed registration form, payment, and a submitted volunteer form. After we have received 120 full registration applications in approximately three equal age divisions, subsequent registrants will be wait listed. The cost is $100 per swimmer. This covers coaching, meets, lifeguards, and insurance. We expect that swimmers commit to attend practices and compete in at least 3 of the 5 meets plus Champs. Swimmers need to be competent in 2 strokes of 25 yards. Swimmers new to the team will be tested on the first day of practice. If your child has taken swim lessons, a completion of Level 4 is the proficiency needed for the swim team. If you are unsure if your child is ready to participate on the swim team, please contact us. The team suit color is BLACK. Please note that parents are required to volunteer for our home meets. This is a fun social experience that lets you watch the meets from the pool deck. |
